MARY O' CONNOR

Mary joined the staff of Saint Bonaventure in 1982. For many years Mary was an English teacher and the Faculty Advisor of the first publication of the Seraph Scrolls. During her time at Saint Bonaventure Mary coordinated the cheerleaders and songleaders, was junior class advisor (assisted in the planning of the ring mass, dances, prom and countless other activities) and initiated “0” period Journalism class in conjunction with the publication of the Seraph Scrolls.

Mary left Saint Bonaventure in 1986 and founded SIGNS NOW! Of Ventura County. Mary’s work can be found throughout the county but especially throughout the Saint Bonaventure Campus. Just take a look around the gym and you will see not only her professionalism and commitment to quality work but also her passion, love and support for Saint Bonaventure and all of its endeavors.

Mary is an avid Seraph football fan and can be seen each week in the stands cheering on the team. She and her husband, Bill Tosney, have two children and reside in Ventura. Daughter Karen is a graduate of the class of 1985 and was a cheerleader and son Kelly is a graduate of the class of 1998 and was a member of the football team.
