Andy Wagoner is a 1988 graduate of St. Bonaventure High School. While at St. Bonaventure Kevin participated in Football, Basketball and Baseball. He was a two year Varsity letterman in Football and Baseball but he really shined on the Basketball court where he earned 4 Varsity letters. On the gridiron, Andy was selected to the All Tri-Valley League team his senior year and participated in the Ventura County all –star game. On the baseball diamond, he was also an All Tri-Valley League selection. On the hardwood, Andy earned three All TVL selections, starting with Honorable Mention honors as a sophomore and culminating with a 1st team and League Co-Most Valuable Player selection his senior year. During Andy’s senior year, the Seraphs captured the Tri Valley League championship for the first time in school history. He was honored after the season with a selection to the All Ventura County team as well as being named All CIF-SS. That summer, he played in the Ventura County Basketball Coaches All-Star game becoming one of the few athletes to participate in two different sports.
Andy moved on to play basketball at California State University Humboldt where he was a member of the schools 1990 Northern California Athletic Conference championship team. He earned his degree from Humboldt and went on to become a teacher. He has been a U.S. History teacher, coach and Athletic Director at Coalinga Middle School since 1994. He coaches or has coached basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer at CMS, Coalinga High School and West Hills Community College. Andy resides in Coalinga with his wife Christina and their two children Dominic and Amelia.
