Admissions: Application Process
Parents of students interested in attending Saint Bonaventure High School can apply online beginning September 15, 2016 by clicking here or by submitting a paper application to the school office during normal school hours. The Application Process requires:
1. A Completed SBHS Application
There is a $75 application fee due at the time an application is submitted to Saint Bonaventure High School. The application fee includes the cost of the High School Placement Test which is requried of all prospective 9th grade students. Please note: the $75 application fee is non-refundable.
2. Completion of the High School Placement Test
Saint Bonaventure High School will offer the High School Placement Test on Saturday, January 21st, 2017. In order for students to be registered for the HSPT on 1/21/17, an application must be received by Thursday, January 19th. Saint Bonaventure will also offer the HSPT on Saturday, January 28th, 2017. The deadline to submit an application for the January 28th HSPT is January 26th, 2017.
3. Student Report Card and Recommendation Forms
Saint Bonaventure High School will request this information from each student's school on your behalf. There may be some instances where parents will be asked to request this information for their student's school to ensure all information is received in a timely manner. Recommendation forms will be sent to each student's Principal, Math teacher and English teacher.
4. Acceptance Notifications
Notification of acceptance for applicants who have met the primary admissions application deadline (January 26, 2017) will be mailed out on Friday, March 3, 2017. Prospective 9th grade students who do not meet the primary admissions application deadline are welcome to apply at any time and will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis if space is available.
